Motherhood is just a bunch of letters but it has a deep meaning to all of us. Motherhood is the state or experience of having or raising a child. Giving birth to and raising a child is an example of motherhood. But motherhood is not only limited to someone who gave birth but it is also applicable to those who Adopt and raise a child. Becoming a mother can be very tough sometimes, but it can also be one of the most selfless and loving gestures to a woman.
In the course of bringing a new life, the woman may encounter different kinds of change. These involve physical, emotional, and mental changes. Some of these may be long-lasting and sometimes painful. During the stage of your pregnancy, your body goes through many transformations. A woman must sacrifice some control over their bodies throughout pregnancy, a sacrifice that most are not accustomed to.
These are some of the changes in the woman’s body that may take place during pregnancy. Although others may or may not experience some of these, definitely they will experience the same beautiful journey of motherhood.

These changes are just part of becoming a mother. Accepting these with all your heart is what we called “Love”. Being a mother is a privilege. A difficult task with a lifetime responsibility. That is why I will always choose to become a mother that would always think of his/her child’s welfare before anyone else. A mother that would risk her life to give a brighter future for her child especially, during difficult times.
While there are many uncomfortable and undesirable changes that take place upon becoming a mother, the ultimate reward is a beautiful child who will soon adore his or her Mommy. To the future mommies out there, always be selfless even how tough this role maybe but think that this is a God’s gift for a woman like you!
